What we compare
- The reader’s task: filing, prosecution, transaction, dispute, or litigation.
- Relevant credentials: state licensure, USPTO registration, and court admission.
- Scope: deliverables, assumptions, exclusions, staffing, deadlines, and communication.
- Cost structure: official fees, professional work, third-party costs, and later stages.
- Risk: confidentiality, ownership, timing, evidence, forum, and consequences of delay.
What we do not score
We do not assign superiority, quality, success, trust, or outcome scores without a documented dataset and transparent method. The site has no lawyer profile database, client-review system, peer-review survey, case-results dataset, or paid placement program.
How to use a comparison
Verify credentials in official records, ask candidates the same questions, and compare written scopes on the same assumptions. Different answers may be appropriate for different technologies, deadlines, budgets, and risk levels.
